proposed that the Committee should be
restricted to the consideration of the
problems which will arise immediate ly on
the reoccupation of Hong Kong and Malaya, but that it shr. be free

to submit any recommendations that it may
so desire as to the future of these institutions.
The Colonial Higher Education Commission
progress of the deliberation will be kept informed of the conelusions of the
Committee in order that, if it so wishes, the
Commission may take account of them in its
general report.
